Gintert Takes Over As Youth Coordinator

The TBF hired Mark Gintert as its new Youth Programs Coordinator.
The Bass Federation has hired Mark Gintert of Diamond, Ohio, to the position of National Youth Programs Coordinator.
Gintert is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Business Management. He has successfully
built, owned and managed a number of private sector businesses, from start-up through sale, including companies
in the manufacturing sector and the boating/recreational industry. He also has broad experience in working with
youths to make a difference in their lives.
Throughout his business career, Gintert has given his time and expertise in many youth related fields, including
four years as an Ohio School Board member, volunteering in the public school system as a Junior Achievement teacher
responsible for counseling students on business practices and strategies, and as a job interview training instructor
for high school juniors and seniors. Additionally, Gintert has two children of his own and has served as a head
track and field coach, district basketball program coordinator and youth baseball and softball coach for 11 years.
Gintert is an avid fisherman and lives lakeside with his wife Lana.

President and CEO Robert Cartlidge. "He is a welcome and refreshing addition to our broadening employee base
and to our leadership team. When you add Mark’s drive and determination from the TBF side and all that our partners
at FLW Outdoors bring to the table, the outlook for the federations’ youth programs is very bright."
Speaking about his new role with TBF, Gintert said: "I am extremely excited to be a part of TBF and all that
the federations do for America’s youth. I can’t wait to really get rolling. Most people look their entire life
for that one job that they feel they can make a difference with. I have found mine now. It is really a dream come
true. I have a real passion for our nation’s youth and a need to help do my part in guiding them in a constructive
direction. We need to get them out of the house and into the outdoors. The potential to affect positive change
for youths through TBF is huge."
Cartlidge said more staffing needs such as a TBF Conservation Director would be filled over the coming months. |
