Champions Announced

West Virginia BASS Federation Bassmaster CastingKids competition winners were announced at the Annual West Virginia
State Championship Sunday March 13th at 1:00 pm at Braxton County Middle School in Flatwoods.
7-10 Age Group Winner (left)

Both of these youngsters will compete in the National Semifinals in Orlando, Florida in April 2005.
BASS began the Bassmaster CastingKids program in 1991 and later teamed with CITGO and other sponsors to make it
the most successful youth fishing program in the world. The goal of the program is to get youngsters involved in
fishing and to foster in each participant an appreciation of and concern for the outdoors.
Over its 13 years, the Bassmaster CastingKids program has reached over 1.5 million children and given away more
than $2.9 million in cash, prizes and scholarships.
