2003 OUTDOOR EXPO set for Clarksburg

| Bassmaster's CastingKids competitions will be among the highlights
of the 2003 Outdoor Expo. |
This year, the West Virginia B.A.S.S. Federation and Harrison County Schools have teamed up to bring two shows
into one. The Outdoor Expo will be held at the Nathan-Goff Armory on February 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
and on Sunday February 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Exhibitors will include bass boat displays, new trucks and SUVs, fishing and hunting vendors, 3-D gun target booth,
Harrison county D.A.R.E. program, DNR, Harrison County Board of Education, M.A.D.D., Clarksburg Elks, FBI fingerprinting,
and many more. Opening Ceremonies will be on Saturday, February 15, at 10:00 a.m. with keynote speaker, The Honorable
Joe Manchin III, WV Secretary of State.
Activities will include CastingKids both days, Hooked on Fishing Writing Contest Awards, Fishing Seminars, Trout
Unlimited Fly Tying, and a demonstration by Thunder the Eagle provided by the Raptor Rehabilitation Center. Food
concessions will also be available.
Admission will be $2.00 per person. All kids 15 and under are free with a paying adult. Proceeds will benefit the
WV B.A.S.S. Federation Youth Program and Harrison County Board of Education's Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs Program.

Coming from I-79 North/South, take Route 50 West (Clarksburg/Bridgeport) exit, go to Joyce Street exit, turn left,
go 4 stop lights, turn right on Route 98 (Eagle Way) follow Route 98 to Route 19, at stop light, turn left, go
to Hardees and turn left onto Armory Road.
Coming from Parkersburg, take Route 50 East, turn right onto Route 98, (can follow hospital signs) go past United
Hospital Center to stop light at Route 19, turn left, go to Hardees and turn right onto Armory Road. |
